Ajax DoorProtect Wireless Door and Window Opening Detector, Black

Ajax DoorProtect is a wireless indoor detector that reports when a door or window is opened. A sealed reed relay reacts to the supplied magnet, while an additional NC input allows a compatible wired detector to be connected.

Detection and security

The small magnet works at a distance of up to 1 cm and the large magnet at up to 2 cm. DoorProtect communicates with an Ajax hub through the encrypted Jeweller radio protocol at up to 1,200 m in open space. Authentication, jamming detection, frequency hopping and tamper protection help protect the system against interference and enclosure opening.

Installation

SmartBracket enables surface mounting without dismantling the enclosure. Connection quality and the detection zone can be tested through the Ajax app. uartBridge and ocBridge Plus integration modules allow use with compatible third-party security systems.
