What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

Ugly Rubber Pure case for iPhone 15 Plus 6,7" clear

The Pure case is the perfect solution for users who value both the aesthetics of their device and its safety. This transparent case offers high protection while maintaining a minimalist look. It meets military standards for drop tests from a height of 1.2 meters. Thanks to hybrid technology with dual injection and dual-core bumper layers made of polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane, it effectively absorbs and disperses the impact force, minimizing the risk of phone damage. The material used in the case is exceptionally resistant to scratches and aging. A special coating prevents scratches, deformities, and excessive color changes, ensuring long-lasting quality of protection. The case is compatible with wireless charging, allowing convenient use of this feature without the need to remove the case. Additionally, it supports Apple Pay, enabling quick and secure mobile payments. Precise cutouts for ports provide easy access to all phone functions, including speakers, camera, and connectors, without restricting user convenience.
